Inglot Launch in Blanchards town

Sooo!
Today i headed to Blanch for the Inglot Launch, Needless to say there was a MASSIVE queue outside the doors, people of all ages just dying to get in.

There was a goody bag for the first 50 people in the door, and sadly i was number 58 i think , so i missed out of the goody bag but i did receive a voucher for a complimentary make over which it awesome :D

So the shop is just beautiful, the set up is amazing and its easy to get around (except for today because it was PACKED) I honestly couldnt move without bumping into about 5 people at a time!

So for those of you who do not know what Inglot is, Inglot is a Polish makeup brand and has been around for just over 25years. It was created by the Inglot family , Mr.Inglot,  a Pharmacist set out to have have products at affordable prices but using only high quality ingredients. There are over 300 stores world wide, and also ( My favorite part ) THEY DO NOT TEST ON ANIMALS!

Now what i ADORE about Inglot is their freedom system.
The freedom system is a selection of palettes starting from 2 slots and going up.
You then choose your shades of eyeshadows , lipsticks , brow wax's etc.

For example i today picked up a 5 palette and chose my 5 eyeshadow shades

Shades (left to right ) : 318 , 371 , 320 , 51 and 331

They are super pigmented! And their range of shades is amazing, i was honestly there for half an hour deciding what to get!

For the palette and the 5 shadows is was only €30!
That is AMAZING value for such fantastic products!

So i also created a quick look with my palette today!
Here it is!

I would highly recommend finding out where your closest Inglot store is, and go have a look!

Do you know when to throw out your makeup?

When makeup expires!
So the other day i cleared out my entire makeup! And i couldnt believe the amout of stuff i had to throw out!

You should never keep makeup too long, after awhile it starts to build up bacteria.
And yes makeup does go off!!

So when should you throw makeup out?

Here is some guidelines to how long you should have a product before replacing them!

Lipstick: Some experts say 1-2 years. Some say 4 years !  (If it smells rancid, throw it out)

Lipglosses/chapsticks: 2 years

Powder eye shadow: 2 years

Cream eye shadow: 12-18 months

Eyeliner: 3 months

Mascara: 3 months ( some last longer , again smell it and if it stinks throw it out!)

  Powder blush: 2 years

  Cream blush: 6 months

Oil-free foundation: 12 months

Cream foundation: 18 months

Concealer: 12-18 Months

Lotions: 2 years

I hope these guidelines help you out [=

WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN APPLYING MAKEUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so i know me posting this video on my page and blog is getting it more views. But honestly if anyone follows this "tutorial" they will look a mess or get an infection

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoleqKKk1vU&feature=youtu.be

This woman states she is NOT a huge brush cleaner.
That is a huge no no if you are applying makeup!!
Makeup has few rules but hygiene and washing your brushs is the no.1 rule and most important.
Also a few minutes into this "tutorial" she sucks on her brush to get the mountain of product she has in it!
DO NOT DO THIS. I know its common knowledge not to do this.. but obviously some people do.
This is disgusting.
This video is an outrage to makeup and i cant believe this woman has more than 1000 subscribers praising her work.

Thanks for listening to my rant!
STAY CLEAN! ;)

Gel eyeliner from Maybelline review

So a short while back this gel liner was reccommended by the AMAZING Michelle Anderson!
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sherisan-Wharmby-Makeup/195726843786740?ref=ts#!/pages/Michelle-Anderson-Makeup/282228579318

And then about 2 weeks ago it was also recommended by the extremely talented Marie Viktoria http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sherisan-Wharmby-Makeup/195726843786740?ref=ts#!/pages/Marie-Viktoria-Make-Up/162027853833667

So i decided to pick it up and try it out and all i can say is WOW this gel eyeliner is FANTASTIC!
Its €7.99 in boots atm but it is normal only €10.99 and thats a BARGAIN!

Both Michelle and Marie said it is better than M.A.C and i have to agree! It comes with a little eyeliner brush to apply it and the brush is lovely! The gel liner glides on smoothly, its very creamy ,its extremely black and it is extremely long lasting!! It says 24hour on the box and its right, ( i even used it on my hand, washed , my hands , used my hands for eating etc and even went to sleep with it on my hand, and when i woke up it was still in the shape i drew it in and barely faded!

I highly recommend this product to everyone, its easier than a liquid liner to use, its longer lasting than pencil liners and its beautiful!! The brush it comes with makes it very easy to do winged/cat wing shapes which allot of people find difficult!

Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation Review!

So today i received my free sample of Illamasqua's new Skin base foundation!
I recieved the shade SB01 Which is a white foundation perfect for alabaster skin but im a shade darker than white, i asked for the wrong shade when i was typing i was ment to ask for SB02 but i tried out the white foundation and i have to say it is AMAZING!
It feels like silk and it just glides along the skin and it blends beautifully! I highly reccomend investing in a bottle of this foundation! The foundation is pricey for some people it is £25 ! But it is well worth it in my opinion, Foundation is one of the few things i would advise to splash out on if you know what brands to get and this one is a must for any makeup bag/kit/collection!!! This foundation comes in 18 different shades so you will not be stuck it will have your colour! From extremely pale skin to dark skins!

Illamasqua's Description/Info of the foundation :
Inspired by the cult Asian market Beauty Balm creams, Skin Base Foundation is a brand new, refined formula unlike anything on the UK market. Easily blendable, it effortlessly creates a perfect complexion, and like the entire Illamasqua foundation range, is undetectable in a professional HD environment. Suitable for all skin types, it smoothes, softens and conditions your skin whilst providing natural, buildable coverage.

Urban Decay Naked Palette Review.

I have recently bought the Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palette.
This is a beautiful 12 eyeshadow palette , the eye shadow shades go from nude to black!
The eyeshadows are very strongly pigmented and go on beautifully!

I picked this palette up is Debenhams for only €36! Not only does the palette come in subtle yet beautiful packaging but it also comes with a small travel sized bottle of primer potion (eye shadow primer) and a beautiful brush to apply your shadows with!! The brush is also animal crulty free which is a HUGE bonus!

I myself cannot fault this palette at all, i love the shades and the pay off of the palette and it is deffinatly worth €36!
